![]() And what's more, the price is hard to beat. This has 15, (YES 15!) mandrels (and inserts), more than any other I found.now I'm pretty well set for anything in the future. So now to decide which one to buy.well there's a lot of similar ones like this unit under different brand names but I'm always willing to spend more to get more so I won't end up regretting not having more later and this one fits the bill. So here we are, I discovered rivet nuts by chance and *BAM*, I knew this was my solution! I may have seen or heard of them before as I'm a regular tool using and accumulating guy, but I don't recall. I went out and drilled a larger hole and bought two new larger bolts but they just didn't thread in properly and so that was the end of that and if I went to the next larger size bolt, the head would've been too large to even get in there to tighten it. The winds here battered my fence and gate over the years and eventually the bolts began getting pulled out on the bottom hinge and the bolts were over tightened which ultimately lead to hole being stripped out and the bolts not holding at all anymore. I have a steel 4x4 fence post with gate hinges bolted to it.
